Making a difference, on purpose

As a public servant, she understands the importance of transparency and accountability within schools and the communities they serve. She is committed to providing an open and authentic atmosphere for the students, faculty, and families of the Duluth School District.

Since Frances retired from the Air Force, she has continued to serve our community, which involves making a difference to advocate for those who don't feel they have a voice. She has been involved in a variety of roles and met with inspirational community members within the community, including the City of Duluth Human Rights Commissioner, Edina Realty Referral Network, Northeast Minnesota Welcoming Community Advisory Committee, Head of the Lakes United Way (HLUW) Board member,  and the Northern Minnesota Chapter Leader for FAIR, Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism.

Most importantly, she supports her children's school as a lunchroom/playground monitor, Elementary PTA Secretary, and Touchdown Club.
